Demonstration Speech Finished!
February 20, 2009
So I did my demonstration presentation last Monday and I was very pleased. I ended up doing it about beekeeping and I was worried it might be more informative than a demonstration speech should be. In the end it was alright though. There were also presentations about Kool-aid and how to make fudge, as well as ones about billiards and golf. Everyone has done very well thus far. I really liked the evaluation papers that the class did and they gave me tips and hints on ways to improve for next time. So now that that is over, we will be preparing for the next presentation which is an informative essay. I have a few ideas but none that are set in stone so I’ll probably be brainstorming for that over the next couple days. I must say that since taking this class I am much less nervous than I used to be while speaking in front of an audience and I am able to remember more without the aid of notecards. So anyways its been pretty good at the half-way point and I’m ready for spring!
Thanks,
Alex
