Using Images in an Informative Speech
March 11, 2009

Kaitlynn's dog Riley
I gave my informative speech. For some reason I felt more nervous than I did before, but I feel that this is due to the fact that I didn’t have my speech down. As I was talking I found myself moving faster than I believed I would or practiced, but this wasn’t that big of problem because I was in my limit of time. Since I was nervous I forgot to finish up with the conclusion that I had planned out.
I really had fun putting it together. I find images to be fascinating just because of all the beautiful color of the world caught only for a brief moment in time. Images allow us to see the past and what something or someone has become. How the world evolves in itself and how life moves around. For example the creation of a garden has multiple steps before it becomes that beautiful garden we see today, well maybe not at this time because it’s winter. I was really glad for the comments and suggestions from the review sheets. Well now I’m ready to prepare my persuasive speech that I will be giving on Monday.

Is the dog in the picture from a shelter?
