An Informative Speech about Sexting
April 22, 2009
For our reading I believe that everyone did great. Some were emotional, personal, and entertaining. I believe that I myself need to do better. I am still kind of concerned about the informative speech because I am not that good doing an outline. My speech is about sexting and teenagers. I don’t know what this world is coming too. I did put a comment on the CBS 3 in Springfield, MA about how teenagers shouldn’t even think about sex. They need to think about their education and their future. They are suppose to be a role model for little ones and what’s sad is that most teenagers I have seen or met acts like six year olds. They know what is right and what is wrong and they should grow up. I think the high schools should ban texting because believe it or not they use their phone on a test and they can cheat. I think teenagers should have phones, but without the text message system. They don’t need it.

I agree high school should ban cell phones when I heard about kids doing the sexting in school I was horrified. Kids are getting younger and younger talking about sex and I think that the schools could help with that.

awesome speech! I was silently applauding you when you started your speech. Teens dont really need texting, you are right. It has led to trouble with texting during class, texting 4242 for answers on tests, and sexting. Parents shouldnt allow texting at all for their teens, and school should ban cell phones during school time.

This was a great speech. You had good information. The schools should ban cell phones in the school. We had done just fine without them before, we will do fine without them again. They should set the rule and stick to them.
