Extreme Savings 101!
How many of you enjoyed hearing how to save money not only on groceries but on gas as well!
I love the feeling I get when I save a bunch of money. Now as I said during my speech I am NO EXTREME COUPONER. Sorry, haven’t made it that far. I can generally save about 50-60% on almost every trip I take to the grocery store. Its fun but it’s also time-consuming. Once you get into it though your hooked, lol. Seriously. I clipped my coupons every week. It’s best to get at least 2-3 newspapers every sunday, Cincinnati Enquirer has the most coupons in them but I’ve found 2 coupon books inside of the People’s Defender as well. You just have to look for them, their hard to find sometimes. I also use website to print off manufacturer’s coupons which can be used at pretty much any store that carries that product. But a couple of those websites are; www.coupons.com www.shopathome.com www.redplum.com and sometimes if you sign up for E-Newsletters for certain companies you can get coupons from them as well. Not trying to sound like a broken record but couponing takes a lot of time to organize, plan, clip, organize, plan, and clip…..etc….etc….etc….
Once you start seeing your results though it is definitely worth it. I saved personally $83.oo on all my groceries a couple of weeks ago. I found great deals at Kroger and with some of my coupons I was able to find things for nearly pennies! Definitely do your research and start clipping. I hope you all learned something from this blog as well as my speech.

SUGAR COOKIES!
Sugar cookies are in fact my favorite kind of cookie! I do not eat them on a regular basis though, lol. When I was trying to decide what I was going to do my demonstration speech on cookies was the first thing that popped in my head. Everyone just about, was going to cook for their demonstration speech. So I figured what the heck I can do something like that. Well I don’t know who ate some of my cookies but I know that they were pretty good.
I loved everyone’s desserts, snacks, and BBQ chicken. I really enjoyed the interaction I had with the entire class throughout all the speeches I’ve given. My demonstration speech though was roughly put together, because I lost the original recipe I had for the sugar cookies so I had the last-minute to look one up and go off that to give my speech on and not to mention to bake before I came to class that evening. I enjoyed every minute of it though and I hope you all enjoyed the cookies!!!

Speeches scare me
When I started to give my first speech I was terrified! I felt my whole body go numb and my face got hot! I was so nervous! After giving a couple more speeches it totally changed my way on how I speak to people in general. I’m not as scared, still not comfortable, but the important part is I’m not as scared. Speeches have never been my favorite no matter in what class. I really had no idea what I was getting myself into when I signed up for this speech class. Overall though, I had a great time. Especially watching everyone’s demonstration speech. Thank you all for providing me with laughter and tears throughout this entire class and I wish you all well throughout the rest of your school days to come.

A new look at life
When I first walked into the classroom I was so nervous. Candee made me feel more at ease with her pleasant attitude and always happy attitude and smiling. I like everyone in my class right now. I just want to be able to get up and talk in front of the class without turning red. Every time we do group activities and I go to speak I feel my face get hot and I know I’m turning red! I’ve always been that way though. I know that this class will help with that extremely! So far though I love this class and I know everyone will be able to say at the end of it that they’ve learned something or they’ve gained some kind of self confidence. I know I will.
