our first speech!

I really believe that the first speech was the easiest, at least for me. I really like to read, so when Candee told us that for the first speech we were only going to read to each other that was pretty exciting. I didn’t have to memorize anything, that made it a lot better. I think I really can’t memorize things. If I have to it takes me a really long time to. We all did a very good job, doing our first speech.

I really felt the most comfortable with the first speech also. Knowing that we could look down at the paper of whatever we were reading was very reassuring.

Crystal, I know were you are coming from I also like reading. I feel like I can express myself better than when I try to memorize. I don’t know what it is but I always get my words messed up and get very nervous. I also liked doing the demonstrative speech, I felt less nervous when I was using my hands to demonstrate something. I totally agree. The first speech was the easiest and best for me.
