Thanks Tarina

As I look over my speech for tomorrow,  I find myself  still impacted by Tarina’s speech- a couple of weeks ago. I feel that her words not only addressed the obvious ignorance/hatred of religion, but also introduced the concept of acceptance. Personally, I am more spiritual than religious, but Tarina’s speech triggered such powerful emotions Because I too am seen as different-because of my world & political views, the way I speak or dress, most noticeably my daughter. The list could go on and on.

Took courage; I sincerely commend and thank you. BRAVO!

Thank you Heather!! Seeing your response made me feel like that speech was worth all the nerves and preparation. And I’m inspired by your confidence in class every day 🙂

I agree, Tarina’s speech was very meaningful and certainly something that needed to be said!
