Speaking Out Loud, Informative

March 7, 2010 at 7:17 pm Leave a comment

Hello all,

I hope everyone is doing okay and having fun with all of the snow!  Well, we did our informative speech and all is well!  I really enjoyed hearing them and am sure everyone else feels the same!  There were so many great ideas and messages, and everyone seemed more relaxed.  I really liked Destiny and Opal’s speech.  They both reflected on topics that are personal and have great meaning.  I can also relate to both of their topics (Alzheimer’s disease and Working thru past abuses) and maybe that is why it meant so much to hear them.

It seems like each speech takes away some of the fright that most of us feel at times.  With the lessons learned and the new found comfort of public speaking, I can’t wait to see more speeches!  Enjoy and see you all at class!
