Things I learned in Speech

  1. Don’t be afraid!
  2. Listen to what others have to say.
  3. Have confidence in yourself and what you  have to say.
  4. Be supportive of others.
  5. Criticism is meant to help you improve, not put you down.
  6. Don’t talk to fast.
  7. Speak up.
  8. Believe what you say.
  9. Always have a conclusion.
  10. It’s really not that scary!

    I think it’s kind of ironic how the tip “Always have a Conclusion” isn’t at the end of your list! We as a class did a lot of work this quarter! We learned so much, and I feel like we all are a lot closer together. This was a great experience.

    That is some great advice, now if I can I can only remember all that when I get up there to do my persuasive speech.
