Visual assessment

After our informative speeches,  we shared our visual assessments on the class’s informative speeches, so we had to show our creative side. There were some very creative and thoughtful projects. Some students made poster boards, some made crafts, and some shared photos that represented the speeches that we heard. I am not very creative so I went with what I know and “went digital on them”, as Candee said.

No matter how different we express what we are learning it seems like there are a lot of similarities in what we are taking from the class. The most common thing we are getting from it is learning to be more relaxed and confident while speaking to a crowd, and interacting with them.

The more comfortable we are in a crowd the better our speeches will be. We may never have to give a public speech, but I think what we are learning will help us to communicate better in life.
