Final Speech :(

Tuesday I gave my last speech.  I chose to persuade people to not watch tv.  It was kind of a last-minute speech, but I still wasn’t nervous.  I kept eye contact, and I made sure to include facts and experience.  I think it went well.  (: There were some very interesting persuasive speeches.  It was fun to watch our class grow and to see how much we all improved.  I learned more in this class than in any other class.  I went into speech class thinking it was going to be the worst thing ever and expecting to be miserable, but it was actually the most fun class I have taken at SSCC and I was excited to go to class every Tuesday and Thursday.  I loved it.  It’s sad that the quarter’s over.  😦

I agree it was fun to watch the class grow and mature into people who could talk in front of people more comfortably.
