Our Speeches are Passionate and Fun

Well I have to say that I felt and still feel very passionate about child obesity and I don’t think I will ever sway.  I do think it is an epidemic in the USA and we all should be very aware of it.  I am happy to have had the opportunity to have shared my findings and have such a positive response…thank you all.  In no way did I want to offend or upset anybody…I just wanted to simply inform people about how it truly does work in the school systems and how in some cases WE have no control and also remind us that sometimes it’s not about fault but about routine.  If we don’t know our child’s routine (eating habits/eating situation) during school we can’t make a difference at home and enforce what is BEST for our child’s health.  I can’t imagine being a parent and having to maintain control over things that are sometimes impossible.  I applaud all parents and pray for strength for all of them.

I also want to say that we are a great class of people. I think that our speeches our passionate and fun.  It’s amazing to see people that you don’t even know go through some of the same fears as you.  It’s interesting to hear what people know and what their passions are, as well as what they stand for.  I think you can get a pretty good idea of who and what we are as a class.  There are so many things that I enjoy about the people I share this class with..I feel like we all have fun and are in support of each other.  The last speeches spoke to me on all levels.  Everyone does such a great job and are just getting better at doing Public Speaking.  I also thank Candee for being so caring and helpful to all of us.  To see the emotion that she feels as well as everyone else makes me feel like it is all worth while.

So THANK YOU to everyone!!
