Power of the voice..

From childhood to adulthood we strive for bigger and better. As a child it is better and more toys. As an adult it leads into a better job, more money, a bigger home, a better car. It’s all about the appearance of power and being in control. We want what we can’t have, and take what we have for granted.

One of those things I know I have taken for granted is the power in one voice. It is one of our greatest and most powerful gifts given to us at birth. I guess you could say it is our birth right, although most of us don’t realize the strength in the words that we speak, the strength within the voice alone. The power one can have with speech when their heart is behind what they say.

One person, one voice can change the world.  It has been proven throughout history over and over again. How many of you cannot name the person that said, I have a Dream.…… His voice, the power in his words changed our world forever.

My mother says you have to stand for something or you will fall for anything. Who will know what you stand for if you don’t use the power in your voice to let them know.

You are exactly right. If we do not use our voice to speak our opinion, how would anyone never know how we feel.

I could not agree with you more. Thank you for sharing yourself in all your speeches. I know that you have a lot to say, so do not let anything or anyone stop you. You have the power, please use it.
