The close of a great performance

I would like to say goodbye and good luck to everyone who was in my class. I have had a great time and have learned a lot of valuable information. I have learned that not only was I a nervous wreck at the thought of speaking in class but a lot of other people share the same fear. Joe even told us tonight that he had dropped the class twice before because of his fear. I am glad that he did not drop again since he shared a lot of valuable information with us. Everyone in this class is so talented in their own way and it helped all of us that we had a great teacher. Thank you Candee and all for sharing this experience with me. I will take with me the knowledge that I can overcome my fear of public speaking by taking my time while speaking, keeping eye contact, projecting my voice and inflicting emotion about my topic. I will be able to do this now, even though im never going to be comfortable doing it.

I like that you went through the key points to making a good speech and also acknowledged that many people have the same fear. You did a good job on all your speeches. It was fun being in class with you hope to see you again sometime.
