My classmates

I learned a lot about my classmates when we did our informative speeches. Some of the topics were personal and make a few people tear up. That makes it much better because then you know they are speaking about something to means a lot to them. One of the classmates did her’s on divorce and it was a touching speech. It made me realize how grateful I am that my parents are still together. Another classmate did her’s on construction workers and her brother-in-law. That one made me think about speeding through construction zones. Before then I didn’t really think about my speed when I went through a construction zone but now I do after hearing her personal story. Everyone did a really great job on their speeches. I personally did mine on teen pregnancy because it was really easy for me to talk about. I was nervous at first, but when I got up there I was fine. It was like I was just having a conversation with a friend. I’m really enjoying speech class.
