acting out loud

Class has been really enjoyable here lately.  There’s something about other people trying to demonstrate something to you that I find amusing.  The class is really coming together nicely.  People are looking more confident and calm; almost like we’re a family.  I feel my demonstration speech went well.  The only issue I can think of is that my speech by nature is more complicated than most would think.  Teaching someone how to squat properly takes months of work and practice.  There’s also a lot more going on when performing the squat than meets the eyes.  I guess you would have to perform some heavy sets and see how sore you get the next day.  I squatted this morning and the soreness is starting to set in.  Anyways I could have gone for a good 30 to 40mins on my demonstration speech; especially if I had the proper equipment to actually teach people.  But even then one session wouldn’t be enough to effectively teach someone how to squat.

The next speech coming up is going to be tricky.  I haven’t a clue what I am going to do.  Persuasive speech should come natural for me but I can’t think of anything I actually want to persuade to the class.  I want something that will grab their attention; something that will hit home with everyone.  If the class was the Cincinnati Bengals I could probably think of some things to say.  Upsetting season for them.  OSU is doing awesome though!!!
