Leading into our informative speech

I have a couple different topics I am considering going into this second speech. I gained some confidence after our last reading. I really enjoyed it! Thanks to everyone for all the positive feedback, I really appreciated it! I believe it really helped reading something that I have heard performed before and by someone who spoke with such confidence. That helped me to read it, I just tried to model my speech after what I had previously heard. Another trick I used to help me appear to have confidence when I spoke was too practice my reading in front of the mirror. I tried to look myself in the eye as I spoke/read my speech. Oddly it was harder to stare at myself while performing the reading than to stare nonchalantly out at the crowd. Hope something I’ve said helps someone else and look forward to reading what everyone else has to say, as I’m sure your reflections will help me better adjust for the next phase of speeches. Thanks for your time! Have a great day!
Thanks Again,
Jodelle

that sounds like a good way to prepare for a speech. I hope it keeps working out for you.
