A true understanding.

Now that the second speech is over I feel a great relief. As I recap On my speech I’m glad I did it on the awareness of domestic violence . So many people go through this issue and never speak of it. That is because we are made to feel ashamed as if it is our fault. If you do ever go through something like this know it is not you fault at all.

It is hard to talk about my experience but it means so much to me to help at least one person get away from an abuser before it is too late. Of course I want to help as many as I can. That is why I am so willing to talk about abuse since it seems our society tends to keep quite. I would like to thank all of you for listening and taking the subject of my speech seriously. Everyone is doing so well with their speeches and I find it interesting to learn who we are as a student body.
