Demonstration Speech about the Family Race Car

Well, I brought something that I really like – The side of our very first race car. I hope you guys enjoyed my speech as much as I did. I currently work at Kroger, so racing may be out of the picture temporarily, but my dream has been always to drive one. My brother and my Dad do, so I’ve always wanted to do the same. I used to drive go-carts back in the day, and I had my glory moments. Well, that’s where racing dirt-track comes into play. I used to work for a dirt-track driver. I loved it all. Like Ashley – running her dad’s business is not an easy job. It will be very stressful and difficult. But, it has been her dream for years. You should never give up on a dream. Because, when you look back, you might regret it.

This class has taught me so many things. I can actually be myself. I tend to be shy at times, but that is who I am. I’m glad I took this class because now each and every one of you guys know a little more about me. I would never before gotten up in front of the class and talked about myself or the things I’m interested in. I also know more about you guys. I had never prepared a speech before this class, but on some of them, they were fun. Others, of course, weren’t as fun. But, each one of you guys made it interesting! I didn’t know that college classes could be this iteresting. Who would have thought for a class – bringing Motzart to class for a speech! This class was fun and exciting. I’m actually a little disappointed it is ending because I know some of you like to talk about yourselves (meaning – to teach the class something about you!) And that is a good thing! Good job everyone!

I really liked how you kept the same general theme in your speeches. You did a very nice job!
